A Night at the Spiral Manila: Grandest Buffet in the Metro

They say that the best things in life are free! Guess we're lucky enough to have experienced said to be Asia's one of the grandest buffets ever: the Spiral Manila, located at Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Pasay City; and it's all for free! Yes, we've got 4 Spiral Manila Dinner Buffet Vouchers courtesy of CDO Danes, which they gave out as a grand prize in one of their online promos wherein my father and I joined and won. Just in time to celebrate Tatay's birthday! Thanks you Danes Cheese! ♥

Not all buffets are created equal and Spiral Manila could explain why.=)

Spiral Manila is loud and proud of its 21 Dining Ateliers- from French Cuisine, Asian, Indian, name it and most probably they have it! My family and I have always been buffet fanatics and I'm telling you, I've never seen this much food selection before. My eyes literally went full of the choices! Spell variety, whoah!

Receptionists and other staff were all accommodating. I personally loved the couch where we were seated. They're so comfy and spacious- desirable for us who value privacy while taking meals. At least others won't see my big bites, haha!

Like we always do in a buffet, we got an overview of the food's array first before actually getting our plates and filling them up with each kind. So let's see what they've got there:

Pizza! Oven-baked cheesy pizza!

How about lots of bread?

For Japanese food lovers, don't be sad! They've got treats for you too! Sushi, Sashimi, Maki and different kinds of Tempura are also in!

Swim into the goodness of these freshly-served oysters, gosh, oysters! There are shrimps, mussels, crabs and lobsters too. Oh, you can also have them baked should you want. Just a little request would do.

Paella.. oohh lala! =)

Have your pasta cravings satisfied. Top them with sauce, meat and garnish of your choice.

At the Asian Station, you could find pansit, stir-fried pork, beef or chicken and vegetables, pork asado pie and a lot more! Well, my favorite "butchi" catched my attention. Filipino dishes are also there like sinigang na baboy and of course, adobo.

Their carving station is a gem! Beef's so juicy and tender, so as the lamb's meat. Best paired with their peppery gravy.

Drooling?

Spiral experience wouldn't be complete without visiting their famous Cheese Room! Yey! This is typically heaven on earth! Now I understand why this is the most raved about feature of Spiral Manila.

In the same room sits a pile of aged hams and meat: rosette is one of my favorites!

Just a few steps away from the Cheese Room rests another set of different herbs and spices.

Sweet tooth alert! Of course we saved room for desserts!

My husband decided to end his day with a cup of coffee. By the way, upon sitting, customers are informed that the only free drinks that go with the regular buffet rate are iced tea and coffee, others would be separately charged. Our vouchers include all drinks and wine though. =)

There you go! Feeling hungry now? Visit Spiral Manila and treat your tummies!

For more information and reservations, you can check on their FB Page @SpiralManila or their website spiralmanila.com.

'Till next time guys!♥
